Sergio Arturo Alday II

Sergio Arturo Alday II, 24, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at University Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca’s Funeral Chapels.

Visitation will take place at 2:00pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Baca’s Funeral Chapel in Silver City. The Funeral Service will begin at 3pm. Pastor Clyde Woods will officiate. Cremation will take place following the funeral service. Concluding Services and Inurnment will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 9am at the Bayard Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers are Regan Duran, Jose Carlos Garcia, Levi Grijalva, James Salgado, Jose Alday, and all of his friends and loved ones.

Sergio was born May 28, 1999 to Sergio Arturo Alday and Lorenza “Lori” Muñoz in Silver City.

Sergio loved working on cars and listening to music, especially rap and oldies. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, especially his dad. Sergio’s loved ones will remember his beautiful smile, kindness, and his selfless attitude.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, grandma, Julia Muñoz; aunt, Elizabeth Bovio; and friend, Nicky Duran.

Sergio is survived by his parents, Sergio Alday and Lori Muñoz (David Chavez); brother, Sabastian Alday; sisters, Sofia Alday (Levi Grijalva), Abigail Alday; paternal grandparents, Arturo and Guadalupe Alday; maternal grandparents Lorenzo and Elizabeth Munoz; aunts Astrid Alday and Bala Salgado (James) many other family members, loved ones, and friends.
