I will never forget when Nellis took my sons deer hunting many years ago. Nellis commented that all Damon, my youngest, pointed his gun at all day was Nellis.

Nellis was a great man he adored talking about his children and hunting with friends and was always there for all who needed a hand. I met Nellis as he was known to all back in 1982 when I first came to Deming and at first meeting he called me mija. He always looked after me when I would work late in the ER he would always stop by and check on the employees working. You will always be in my heart Nellis. True blue rest your badge you wore it with pride.
