Carolina Calzadillas

Carolina Calzadillas, 85, longtime Deming resident passed away Thursday May 9, 2019 at Mesilla Valley Hospice in Las Cruces.

Visitation will be Saturday May 11, 2019 from 12 to 4 PM at Baca's Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will also take place Monday May 13, 2019 beginning at 12 o'clock in the afternoon with a funeral service to follow at 2 o'clock at Baca's Funeral Chapel.  Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. 

Carolina was born July 2, 1933 in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico to Agustina and Heraclio Ibuado.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. 

She is survived by sons, Alfredo Nevarez and wife, Graciela, Samuel Calzadillas and wife Rosa, Servando Calzadillas and wife Ernestina all of Deming; daughters, Bertha Nevarez of Ft. Worth, TX, Oralia Escalante and husband Filiberto of Phoenix, AZ, Angelina Espinoza and husband Roman of Amarillo, TX, Romelia Lozoya and husband Guadalupe of Deming; brother, Patricio Ibuado; sisters, Elvira, Maria and Cruz Ibuado; 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Faustino Calzadillas and son, Manuel Calzadillas.

Serving as pallbearers are Mario Escalante, Sergio Calzadillas, Antonio Escalante, Heraclio Nevarez, Edgar Nevarez, Samuel Calzadillas, Adan and Daniel Lozoya.
