David C Sutherland

David C,. Sutherland, 68, Caballo resident passed away Friday March 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by family.

No services will take place as were his wishes. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.

David was born August 14, 1949 to Wanda Dawson and Harry Sutherland in Columbus, Ohio.  He moved to Caballo in 2001 coming from Queen Creek, Arizona.  David worked for General Motors as an automotive technician until he retired in 2000.   His hobbies were wood working, fishing, motorcycle riding, working in his garage and spending time with his family.

David is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Sutherland of 42 years; children, Roger Sutherland and wife Christine of Arizona, Chel (Micki) Lawrence and husband Adam of Colorado, David Gregory of Texas, Charlie Sutherland and wife Shirley of Arizona; brother, Carl Sutherland and wife Ginny of Arizona; sister, Janet Harger and husband Michael of Arizona; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Wanda Sutherland; sister, Helen Wilson.
