Domingo V. Bencomo, 92, of Silver City passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Fort Bayard Medical Center in Santa Clara.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 10 o’clock in the morning at Baca’s Funeral Chapel, with Deacon Bill Holguin officiating.. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Sundy Bencomo, Steven Bencomo, Montana Bencomo, Dakota Bencomo, Nevada Bencomo, and Dominik Bencomo.
Domingo was born on September 11, 1927 to Anastacio and Rita Bencomo. He had worked and retired as an underground miner at Asarco Copper Mines and had also worked at UV Industries.. He enjoyed listening to all different kinds of music and watching old western John Wayne movies. Domingo will be remembered as a hard worker and a family man.
Domingo is survived by his brothers Tony Bencomo and Joe (Dora) Bencomo; sons Robert (De) Bencomo and their children, Annette and Angel Castillo, Robert Sundy Bencomo, Dallas Bencomo, Kacy Bencomo, Jodie and Oscar Cereceres, Montana and Natalie Bencomo, Dakota Bencomo and Nevada Bencomo; Benny (Selah) Bencomo and their children, Belen and Steven Bencomo; and one daughter, Evelyn Bencomo; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Belen Montoya Bencomo; parents, Anastacio and Rita Bencomo; brothers Robert Bencomo, Bobby Bencomo, Rumaldo “Pini” Martinez; and sisters Bernarda and Antonia Martinez.
