Dora C Sierra

Dora C. Sierra, 90 of Hurley passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. 

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:30 am on Monday, May 14, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Funeral Liturgy immediately  following  at 11 am.  The Rite of committal and burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.  Officiating will Father Oliver Obele.  Serving as pallbearers will be Max Peru Jr., Timothy Lianoz, Angel Sierra, Henry Sierra, Steven Castillo, Rudy Silva, Ernie Archuleta, and Albert Cazares.  Honorary pallbearers will be all his remaining grandsons and family.

Dora is survived by her children, Daniel C Sierra of Hurley, Rita Peru of Gila, and Henry Sierra (Rose) of Las Cruces; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.  Also surviving Dora are her brother, Rick Solis and two sisters, Betty Silva and Sylvia Peru.  She was preceded in death by her husband Santos in 2015; sons, Sammy Sierra, David Sierra and Bobby Sierra as well as her grandson, David C. Sierra Jr.
