Estevan (Steve) Solano has walked on.
Steve was born on September 2, 1942 in Raton, New Mexico to Roman and Amada (Valdez) Solano. He moved to Albuquerque, attending Albuquerque High School. After graduating Steve entered the United States Air Force. After being separated he entered food and beverage sales for 30 years. Steve loved filming and working at CATS until he retired.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca’s Funeral Chapels.
Inurnment of Steve’s cremains will take place on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Fort Bayard National Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be accorded on behalf of the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Francis; three brothers, Felix, Fermin and Fred; a great-grandaughter, Annastasia.
Steve is survived by his children, Bonita (Larry), Daniel, Estevan and Carlos Solano; three sisters, Frieda, Barbara and Gloria; brother, Guy who he treasured; nine granddaughters, Monika, Randi, Shirley, Elizabeth, Alex, Carla, Mary, Dani, Stephanie; one grandson, Alex; his ex-wife and life companion, Shirley; many extended family.
