Florencio Gutierrez Macias

Florencio Gutierrez Macias, 68, Deming resident passed away Thursday November 14, 2019 at La Posada Nursing Home in Las Cruces.

Visitation will be Monday November 18, 2019 from 4 PM to 6PM at Baca’s Funeral Chapel with a rosary to follow at 6 o’clock.  Funeral services will follow in San Juan Balleza, Chihuahua, Mexico at a later date. 

Florencio was born October 27, 1951 to Otilia Macias Ramos and Paz Gutierrez in San Juan Balleza, Chihuahua, Mexico.  He moved to Deming in 2016 coming from Colorado and was a communicant of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Matilde Gutierrez of the home; son, Anthony Gutierrez Sanchez of Deming; 2 daughters, Guadalupe Gutierrez of Lakewood, CO and Lucerito Gutierrez and her husband Jesus Retiz of Deming; 4 grandchildren, Janeth, Victor, Tatiana and Hailey Gutierrez; many siblings and extended family members.
