Gilbert Joseph Cramer

Gilbert Joseph Cramer, 88, Deming resident passed away peacefully at his home Sunday September 8, 2019 surrounded by family.

No service will take place here in Deming as were his wishes.  Inurnment will take place at Cedar Hills Cemetery in Castle Rock, Colorado at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory. 

Gilbert was born October 5, 1930 to Virginia Gross and Joseph B. Cramer in Littleton, Colorado.  He moved to Deming in 1995 coming from Colorado.  Gilbert enjoyed bird watching and ranched most of his life. 

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Cramer of the home; son, Gary Cramer and wife LeeAnn of LaSalle, CO; step-sons, Jim Borden and wife Debra, Steve Borden and wife Margaret both of Deming; step-daughter, Sandi Carbajal and husband Barney of Belen, NM; sister, Barbara Van De Weg of Thornton, CO; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Kathleen Cramer; daughter, Sharon Miller and step-daughter, Debbie Vigil.
