Gloria P. Trujillo

GLORIA P. TRUJILLO, 87, a longtime resident of Lordsburg passed away Saturday November 16, 2019 at her home.

Funeral services will be this Saturday, November 23, 2019 beginning with a rosary at 10 o’clock to be led by Carlos Bejarano.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 o’clock with Fr. Jude Okonkwo, Pastor officiating.  Concluding services and interment will follow at Shakespeare Cemetery.

Gloria was born September 22, 1932 in Pinos Altos.  She has lived in Lordsburg most all her life having previously lived in Deming.  In Lordsburg Gloria was a clerk at the Best Western Motel and served on the Board of Directors of the Ena Mitchell Senior Center as well as being very active with Lordsburg Little League.  She was very dedicated to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where she was a member of the St. Joseph’s Choir and the Altar Society.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Trujillo and Sylvia Trujillo of Lordsburg, Tinker Sharp of Kansas City, MO; son, Miguel Trujillo of Shawnee, KS; brothers, David Bencomo, Tommy Bencomo, and Steve Bencomo (Irma); sisters, Lupe Flores (John), Barbara Gonzales (Diego), Margaret Castillo and Mary Kreutzer;  grandchildren, Adam, Sonia, Bryon and Christopher Trujillo, Kevin Holguin, Jason Holguin, Gabriella Trujillo and Zachary Holguin; 4 great granddaughters and 3 great grandsons.  She was preceded in death by her husband Concepcion Trujillo and by one son, Chon Trujillo.

Pallbearers will be Mike Trujillo, Adam Trujillo, Kevin Holguin, Jason Holguin and Zachary Holguin.
