Henry F Sierra

Enrique Florencio Sierra, 42 of Silver City passed away March 18, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, surrounded by his family.

Enrique was born in Silver City, New Mexico on April 9, 1976, to parents Lorenzo Landeros Sierra and Judy Arenibas Young.   Enrique attended Silver High School.  He was employed by the Town of Silver City and Hamilton Construction, and also worked at the copper mines.  

Visitation for Henry will be from 5 to 6 pm on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Baca’s Funeral Chapels.  The recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 6 pm.  The Funeral Mass will be at 2 pm on Friday, March 22, 2019 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.  Concluding Services and Burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Lorenzo Sierra, Jr., Enrique Sierra, Jr., Adrian Sierra, William Chavez, Michael Marquez, Jr., Robert Gonzales, Jr., Robert Renteria, and Eddie Abalos.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Young (Leonard) of Las Vegas, NV; one son, Enrique Sierra, Jr. of Las Cruces, NM; three daughters, Mariah Hartwell, Amber Sierra  and Crystal Sierra all of Silver City.  One brother, Lorenzo Sierra Jr. (Suzanne) of Silver City; three sisters, Esther Renteria (Robert), Ysabel Gonzales (Robert) of Las Vegas, NV, and Julia Sierra of Silver City, NM.  Also surviving Henry are several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Sierra; paternal grandparents, Antonio and Ysabel Sierra; maternal grandparents, Anastacio and Esther Lucero and maternal grandfather, Tomas Arenibas.  He was also preceded in death by his godson Angel Sierra and nephew Mathew Marquez.
