Irma Molinar Pacheco, 76, former Deming resident living in Arlington, Texas passed away Wednesday October 9, 2019.
All services will be in Arlington, TX with visitation and Rosary Service to be held Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Wade Family Funeral Home, the funeral service on Monday, October 14, 2019, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. No services are planned in Deming.
Irma was born on March 8, 1943, to Jesus and Maria (Galindo) Molinar. She grew up in Deming, graduated from Deming High School, attended New Mexico State University and the University of Texas at Arlington where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in accounting. She married Richard Henry Pacheco on August 9, 1963, having met back in kindergarten when they sat across from each other in class. Together, Richard and Irma raised two children, Patrick and Angela. Irma worked as an accountant in the oil and gas and healthcare industries for over thirty years.
She is survived by her husband Richard, son Patrick Pacheco, daughter Angela Gette, son-in-law Brent Gette, grandchildren Richard Grant Pacheco, Patrick John Pacheco II, and Caroline Grace Gette, sister Yolanda Scheihing, several brothers-in-law, her sister-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Irma was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Molinar; mother, Maria; and siblings Nicolasa Gutierrez, Laura Molinar, Celia Pruitt, Maria Merrifield, Socorro Acosta, Christina Webber, and Jose Antonio Molinar.
