Josephine Aguilar

JOSEPHINE AGUILAR, 73, former resident of Lordsburg passed away Saturday March 2, 2019 at  Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Visitation will begin Saturday March 9, 2019 at 12:30 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where a prayer vigil will begin at 1:30 led by Alice Ramirez.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 o’clock with Fr. Jude Okonkwo, Pastor officiating.  Concluding services and interment will follow at Shakespeare Cemetery.

Josephine was born November 20, 1945 in Lordsburg to Jose Verdugo and Bonifacia Contreras.  She was a homemaker and a communicant of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Ray Saiz of Lordsburg, David Montoya (Patricia) of Lordsburg, Herman Montoya (Judy) of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Verdugo (Karla) of Las Vegas, NV, Luis Aguilar (Perla) of Las Vegas, NV, Melissa Rodriguez, Cora Ramirez (Samuel), and Amanda Matias all of Las Vegas, NV; her brother David Contreras (Yolanda) of Lordsburg; 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Raynaldo Saiz, David Montoya, Herman Montoya, Michael Verdugo, Luis Aguilar, Chris Montoya, Alec Martinez Jr., and Andres Saiz.
