LuAnn Sanchez

Lu Ann Sanchez, 63, of Gila, New Mexico went to be with her Heavenly Father on May 30, 2019. Lu Ann was fun loving and very creative. She was a wonderful artist and jewelry artisan. She loved gardening and spent many hours tending to her plants.

Keystone and Rowdy were her faithful friends and asked that their ashes be mingled with hers.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Beatrice Rivera Sanchez and Manuel Sanchez.  She leaves behind her Uncle Tony Rivera and many cousins and friends.

Lu Ann will be laid to rest next to her mother, father, and grandmother, Angela at the Silver City Catholic Cemetery.

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Funeral Chapels.  Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 9:00 am on Friday, June 14, 2019 at St. Francis Newman Center  where the Funeral Mass will immediately follow.  Concluding service and interment will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.
