Mary Louise Johnson

MARY LOUISE JOHNSON, 87, former resident of Deming passed away Saturday May 12, 2018 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Family and friends are invited to gather Sunday May 20, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at the La Fonda Restaurant, 601 East Pine Street in Deming for a time of remembrance and fellowship. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.

Mary Louise was born March 26, 1931 in Hurley, New Mexico to Royal Jacob and Mary Agnes (Ashmore) Hudson.  She came to Deming with her husband in 1958 and worked in the bookkeeping department with the Deming Public Schools until her retirement.  Most recently she has lived in Albuquerque.  Her family will miss her dearly and remember her as being a wonderful wife and mother.

She is survived by her sons, Dane Johnson and his wife Ruthy of Miami, AZ, Kit Johnson and his wife Vicki of Las Cruces, NM, and her daughter, Trudi Johnson Islas and her husband Steve of Albuquerque; her sister, JoAnn Batchelor and her husband Beck; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Herbert Johnson on April 12, 2004.
