Maximiliano Delgado

Maximiliano Delgado, 90, Columbus resident passed away Sunday October 6, 2019 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital in Deming.

Visitation will be Wednesday October 9, 2019 at 4 o’clock in the afternoon at Baca’s Funeral Chapels with a funeral service to follow at 6 o’clock in the evening with Raul Granillo from New Life Apostolic Church, officiating. Concluding services and interment will take place Thursday October 10, 2019 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Valley Heights Cemetery in Columbus.

Maximiliano was born October 12, 1928 to Margarita Hernandez and Ezequiel Delgado at Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico. He married Angelina Castillo Parra and together raised their family and moved to Columbus 25 years ago.

He is survived by his wife Angelina Delgado of the home; sons, Gabriel Delgado (Gloria) of Columbus, Rafael Delgado (Aida) of Deming, Francisco Delgado of Las Cruces, Ezequiel Delgado (Juana) of Columbus, Benjamin Delgado (Eva) of Los Lunas; daughter, Manuela Delgado (Manuel) of Palomas, Chihuahua, Mexico; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents Ezequiel and Margarita Delgado.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gabriel, Ezequiel, Francisco, Rafael, Carlos and Johnny Delgado.
