Molly Alirez Serna Arias

Molly Alirez Serna Arias, 77, of went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 15, 2018 after a lengthy illness.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 19, 2018 at five o’clock in the evening and the Prayer Vigil and Rosary will  follow at six o’clock in the evening at Baca’s Funeral Chapels.  Officiating is Deacon Richard Rodriguez.  The Funeral  Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at ten o'clock in the morning at Santa Clara Catholic Church in Santa Clara. Concluding services and interment will follow at the Santa Clara Cemetery.  Officiating will be Father Robert L.Becerra.

Molly was born on August 11, 1940 in Silver City to Juan M. Serna and Lorenza A. Kirker.  She was a sweet soul who cared dearly about her family and her faith in God.  Molly lived in Grant County all of her life.  She will be missed by her family and by those who had the privilege to know her and be touched by her kindness.

Molly is survived by her sons, Michael Rodriguez of Silver City and David Arias of Santa Clara; a  brother, Ray Serna of Irvine, CA;  granddaughter, Eileen Arias (Rudy Garcia) of Houston, TX.  and several cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan M. Serna and Lorenza A. Kirker; spouse, Eddie M. Arias.
