Reymundo Gonzales

Reymundo P. Gonzales - 91, of Silver City, passed away at home on October 8, 2018.  He was born September 16, 1927, to Andres Gonzales and Estefana Pena of Santa Rita.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie; his three daughters, Rebecca Castillo and husband Danny, Rachel Ponce and husband Jesse, and Rozenda Limon; two brothers, Henry of Las Cruces and Gustavo of Sierra Vista, Arizona; also survived by six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

As per his final wishes, the Litany of Divine Mercy will be recited at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Baca’s Funeral Chapels.  Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery with full military honors.   He will be laid to rest next to his beloved grandson, Steven Lucero.  Serving as pallbearers will be his beloved grandchildren.
