Violet Fortenberry Obituary

Lifetime Silver City resident, Violet Fortenberry, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 1, 2018.

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Funeral Chapels. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at three o’clock in the afternoon at Valley Community Church. Officiating will be Pastor Nancy Curtis.

Violet is survived by her daughter, Leola Fortenberry Allen and her son, Dana Fortenberry (Jean); four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Fortenberry; two sons, Elvin Donnie and Albert Wylie.
