WILLIAM EUGENE MAY JR., 66, a lifelong resident of Deming passed away Thursday December 13, 2018 at Sierra Medical Center in El Paso.

Family and friends will gather this Friday at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at Baca’s Funeral Chapel for a time of remembrance and fellowship. Cremation has taken place at Baca’s Mimbres Crematory. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

William was born May 26, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Alberta May. He graduated from high school and afterward enlisted with the United States Marine Corps. William later entered the United States Army from which he was honorably discharged on May 21, 1985. He enjoyed mechanic work and especially had an interest in guns and shooting sports.

He is survived by his son Brian C. May of Deming; his father William Eugene May Sr. of Deming; brothers, Lawrence Douglas May, Garth Andrew May, and Clare Alexander May; and his first cousin, Kenneth Updegraff.
