William King Obituary

WILLIAM T. “BILL” KING, 87, resident of Deming passed away Thursday July 19, 2018 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.

No services will be held. Cremation has taken place at Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.

Bill was born October 7, 1930 in Vanadium, New Mexico to John and Cleo Lena (Parson) King. He served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1949 – 1952 and then came to Deming where he owned and operated Bill King’s Electric until it’s closing. Afterward he worked for Jim’s Electric until his retirement. A special thing about Bill is that he was very talented and could make something useful out of most anything.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy A. King of Deming; son Gary D. King of Deming; daughters, Debora Lynn Childers of Deming, Jamie J Brewer and her husband Phillip “Buzz” of Farmington, NM; and 3 grandchildren, Britain C. Childers, Joey Klein and JoLynn Klein.
