Obituary
ADELITA LORENZO has completed her journey here on earth and on August 17, 2023 she entered eternal rest.
Adelita was born May 2, 1938 in her beautiful country Guatemala to Julia and Silverio Barrios. She always had a green thumb, and she loved to cook Guatemalan cuisine. She has a loyal and faithful Christian heart; devoted mother; the greatest Grandma; and caring great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters Maritza Ortiz (Antonio), Ivette Westmoreland (Kevin), her grandchildren Joshua Ortiz, Hannah Madrid, Britanie Martin, Justyn Martin, Jason Lorenzo, Jaime Lorenzo, and Jocelyn Lorenzo. Her great grandchild Violet Madrid whom she loved and played with. Preceding her death included her parents, her beloved husband Ezequiel Lorenzo and son Ezequiel Jr. Chequito.
She will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be Saturday October 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal M.I. located at 501 W. Pine Street, Deming, NM 88030. Concluding service and interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery, Deming, NM.
