Angela F. Aguilar, 90, was called home to our Lord on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her home.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 9 o’clock in the morning at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church followed by a prayer vigil at 10 to be led by Maria Lozano. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 11 o’clock with concluding services and interment at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Jesus Martinez will officiate. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, 33% of the capacity of the church will be allowed, must wear a mask and social distancing will apply. Current cemetery restrictions allow 10 people at the graveside with the remainder of those attending to remain in their vehicles.
Angela was born September 26, 1930 to Soledad Fierro and German Aguilar in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico. She had the greatest love for her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, baking and always made sure her family was fed. One of her greatest passion was gardening; her favorite flower were roses.
Angela will be remembered as a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her children, Guadalupe Maesse Aguilar and companion Federico Hernandez of Palomas, Amanda Carlos and her husband Manuel, Luz Elva Chavez, Maria Lopez, and Bernardino Sotelo and companion Laura Rodriguez all of Deming; sisters, Nasaria Hurtado of Casas Grandes and Manuela Kunz of Utah; 11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jesus Carlos and sister, Lupe Aguilar.
Serving as pallbearers are Jaime Lopez, Gabriel Lopez, Kristian Lopez, Alexis Lopez, Martin Granillo and Martin Granillo III.
