Anita Carrillo

ANITA CARRILLO, 79, resident of Deming passed away Thursday February 11, 2021 at University Medical Center in El Paso.

Visitation will be Thursday February 18, 2021 from 4 to 6 at Baca’s Funeral Chapel.  A graveside service will be Friday afternoon, February 19, 2021 at 3 o’clock with Fr. Prakasham Babu officiating.  Masks and social distancing is required.

Anita was born July 26, 1941 in Saragosa, Chihuahua, Mexico to Genovevo and Elvira (Trejo) Bañales.  She was a homemaker and has lived in Deming since 1958 having previously lived in Isleta, Texas.  Anita was a member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Irene C. Chavez (Victor) of Deming, Armando Carrillo of Deming, Ana Maria Luera of Alamogordo, NM, Genovevo Carrillo of Deming, Juan Carlos Carrillo (Tiffany) of Elko, Nevada, and Antonio Jesus Carrillo of Deming.  She has 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  Anita was preceded in death by her husband Benigno Carrillo and 3 children, Elvira Valenzuela, Ascencion Carrillo and Beni Carrillo Jr.

Pallbearers will be Ben Carrillo, David Luera, Dyami Eaglestar, Tony Carrillo, Raymond Herrera and Jonathan Carrillo.
