Obituary
Anne Pauline Shannon, 87, of Silver City passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Gila Regional Medical Center. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca’s Funeral Chapels.
Anne was born on February 1, 1936 to Arend Mathew and Bess Ellen Abel of Dayton, Ohio. She retired from Miami Bank of Fairborn, Ohio as a Managing Officer and Assistant Vice President.
She is survived by her son, Bruce M. Shannon (Debbie); daughter, Carmen Lynne Shannon of Northern Kentucky; granddaughter, Brittany M. Shannon (Joey); great-grandson, Brody of Safford, AZ; grandson, Brendan M. Shannon (Celina); great-granddaughter, Taytum; great-grandsons, Ryan and Calum of Las Cruces, NM. Anne is also survived by sisters-in-law, Jean Shannon Wimmers of Kettering, OH and Ruth Shannon (Dick) of West Milton, OH; and brother-in-law, Gary Shannon (Rosemary) of Miamisburg, OH.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George L. Shannon Jr.; brother, Howard E. Abel; and sister-in-law, Pat Abel.
Inurnment will take place at David’s Cemetery in Kettering, OH at a later date.
