Antonia "Toni" Parra Pierse

Antonia "Toni" Parra Pierse was greeted by our Lord Jesus Christ as she entered the eternal and pain free gates of Heaven on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at her home in Tucson, AZ surrounded by her family.

Toni is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Robert “Bob” Pierse; son, Jason (Char); daughter, Lia; and grandchildren, Alysa and Ayden. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Elvira; sisters, Mary Lou (Armando), Alice (Eddie), Josie (Joe), and Jean (Victor); and brother, Manny.

To know Toni was to be impacted in a unique and lasting way. Family and faith were her greatest priorities. She loved her husband, kids and grandkids, for whom she would do anything. She was relied upon for her genuine honesty and witty humor and cherished time with her sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Whether it was a phone call seeking her advice, a visit on the porch with coffee and a pan de huevo, or celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by loved ones, her fondest memories were always those she shared with her family.

Toni will be remembered for her unwavering loyalty, infectious laugh, radiant beauty, and unyielding faith. As children, she taught us that a thunderstorm meant our Parra family was throwing a big party in Heaven. Now, decades later and just days following her 74th birthday, she has joined the celebration.
