Antonio Montes

Antonio Montes, 23, a lifelong Deming resident passed away Wednesday June 16, 2021.

Visitation will begin on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 9 o’clock in the morning at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church followed by a rosary at 10 o’clock to be led by Irma Jaurequi. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM with concluding services and interment at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Jesus Martinez will officiate.

Antonio was born May 26, 1998 to Candelario and Maria (Aguirre) Montes in Deming. He attended the Deming Public Schools and was employed as a mechanic. He had a passion for mechanical work; he also loved to be with his friends and family. Antonio was a good son, brother and an amazing friend to anyone that crossed his path.

He is survived by his mother, Maria Montes of the home; 3 brothers, Daniel Montes and his wife Gabriela, Manuel and Alex Montes all of Deming; fiancé, Gloria Torres; son, Jeremiah Torres.

Preceded in death by his father, Candelario Montes.

Serving as pallbearers are Daniel and Alex Montes, Mario Campos, Gustavo Valenzuela, Orlando Rodriguez, Mark Avila and Moses Rodriguez.
