Arthur D Windsor

Arthur D. Windsor, 82, of Silver City passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at his residence.

On Monday, April 16, 2018 burial services will take place at one o’clock in the afternoon at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.  At two o’clock a Celebration of Life will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 3755 N. Swan St. in Silver City.

Arthur was born on June 30, 1935 to Leland Windsor and Audrey Beatrice Williams in Bisbee, Arizona.

Arthur served his country honorably in the Army from 1954-1957.  In 1985 he retired from Phelps Dodge in Morenci, Arizona and moved to Silver City.  Arthur was a very good mechanic and loved to bowl, collect coins and old cars.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

Arthur is survived by his wife Betty, five children, 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
