Ashley Anne Bustillos

Ashley Anne Bustillos, 18, of Tijeras, NM, entered eternal rest on January 15, 2026. She was born September 11, 2007 to her parents Andrew and Carla Bustillos.

Ashley was an adored daughter, sister, leader, and friend. She attended East Mountain High School, where she was captain of her track team and a role model in her soccer and cross-country teams. She was also very esteemed in her academics, being a member of National Honors Society and in the top 10 of her class in GPA. Outside of school, Ashley enjoyed snowboarding, traveling, playing with her rabbit, and spending time with her family and friends. She radiated love and served as a beacon of light in so many people’s lives. There was no one more unconditionally kind and compassionate than her. Ashley was devoted to God as a loyal catholic and will be missed tremendously.

Ashley is survived by her parents, Carla and Andrew Bustillos; her sisters, Adriana Bustillos (Kevin Flores) and Alesandra Bustillos (Valente Garcia); her brother, Andrew Bustillos Jr.; her grandparents, Rufina and Longino Bustillos; her aunt, Noemi Udero (David); her uncles Longino Bustillos Jr. (Sylvia), Samuel Bustillos (Samantha), Abraham Bustillos (Olga), Ray Gomez (Marlisa), and Mark Gomez (Cathie); and her many cousins. She was preceded in everlasting peace by her grandparents Peggy and Ramon Gomez.

A prayer vigil will be held on Friday January 23, 2026 at Bacas Funeral Chapel, 3805 Delk Drive in Silver City. Visitation will begin at 06:00 P.M. and Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 07:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday January 24, 2026 at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 420 W. Market Street. Interment and Rite of Committal will conclude at St Vincent De Paul Catholic Cemetery, 1299 S. Cooper Street.  

Casket bearers include Longino Bustillos Jr., Samuel Bustillos, Abraham Bustillos, Ray Gomez, Mark Gomez, and David Udero. Honorary pallbearers are her brother, Andrew Bustillos Jr.; her godfather, Steven Santa Maria; and Valente Garcia
