Audelia D. Molina, 91, longtime Deming resident passed away Thursday February 18, 2021 at La Posada Nursing Home in Las Cruces.
Visitation will begin at 9 o’clock Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church. Recitation of the holy rosary will be recited by Irma Jaurequi at 10 o’clock. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 o’clock with the rite of committal and interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Jesus Martinez will officiate. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, 25% of the capacity of the church will be allowed, must wear a mask and social distancing will apply.
Audelia was born February 15, 1930 in Las Cruces Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico to Agripina Ortega and Albino Duarte. She was a homemaker; always ready to cook for her family. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and had a special love for them. Audelia loved to listen to music and always had a smile on her face. She was a very happy person. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Alvaro Duarte and his wife Paulina Carrillo, Cesario Duarte and his wife Isela and Willie Molina and his wife Ana Hinojos all of Deming; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Albino and Agripina Duarte; husband, Refugio Molina and son, Enrique Duarte.
Serving as pallbearers will be Alvaro Duarte, Cesario Duarte, Willie Molina, Alvaro Duarte Jr., Oscar Duarte and Willie Molina Jr.
