Aurelio Zamora

Aurelio Zamora, 71, longtime Deming resident passed away Sunday July 19, 2020 at his home.

Visitation will begin at 5 o’clock in the afternoon Wednesday July 22, 2020 at Baca’s Funeral Chapel with a rosary to follow at 6. Cremation will follow at Baca’s Mimbres Crematory. Covid 19 precautions are strongly stressed.

Aurelio was born August 24, 1948 to Maria de Jesus Serrano and Ignacio Zamora in La Parrilla Nombre de Dios, Durango, Mexico. He currently was employed at Mizkan Foods where he was affectionately known as “Speedy”. He was given this nickname because he was always quick at everything he did.  He was a communicant of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by his children, Alejandro Zamora, Enrique Muñoz both of Juarez, MX; daughter, Norma Rice and her husband Bradley of CO; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Aurelio will be greatly missed for his kindness and the love he had for his family.
