Bessie "Betty" Ree Tucker

Bessie Ree Tucker, 98, passed away, July 4, 2024 in El Paso, Texas with her son and best friend Steve, by her side.

“Betty” as she was known by her family and friends, was born June 26, 1926 in Register, Georgia to Charles Clevland Brown and Nancy Frances Williams Brown.  Betty loved to garden and spend as many hours as possible in her yard tending to the plants that she cared for so diligently. Betty loved her family, and her lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She was a member of the Community Christian Fellowship Church in Cliff, New Mexico where she was loved and will be truly missed.  It was said of Betty, that her prayers touched Heaven. 

Betty is survived by her beloved son Steve Tucker; two sisters, Kathryn Parker and Frances Turner; daughter in law, Linda Tucker; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends who held her close to their hearts.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Tucker; a son Chuck Tucker; daughter, Christy King; and two brothers, Charles Brown and Jack Brown.

At Betty’s request, cremation will take place and services to honor her life, a life lived for her family and God, will be held at Community Christian Fellowship Church, 8413 US-180 in Cliff, NM on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 10:00 am.
