Bonifacio ""Bacho"" Chavez Gutierrez

Bonifacio Chavez Gutierrez “Bacho” 65, Deming resident passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, TX.

Visitation will begin Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 5 o’clock in the afternoon till 7 at Baca’s Funeral Chapel. Friday morning, he will be transported to Puerto Palomas, Chihuahua, Mexico where a wake will take place at the Velatorio. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1pm at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the cementerio municipal in Puerto Palomas, Chihuahua.

Bacho was born July 22, 1957 to Consuelo Gutierrez Valenzuela and Bonifacio Chavez Nieto in Ascencion, Chihuahua. He enjoyed traveling and would go from place-to-place driving which was something he enjoy to do, he loved to go to Palomas “a desestresarse” He was a communicant of the Catholic church. Bacho will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Armando, Leonel, Samuel, Ezequiel, Benjamin, Luis, Mabel & Melissa; numerous grandchildren and his siblings, Ruben, Domingo, Rito, Alfredo, Vicky, Soledad, Juana & Sandra.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bonifacio Chavez and Consuelo Gutierrez and a brother, Jose Luis Chavez.
