Brenda Marie (Fankhauser) Byrne

BRENDA MARIE BYRNE, 54, resident of Deming passed away Tuesday November 14, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces.

As per her wishes, cremation will take place at Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.

Brenda was born February 9, 1969 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Gordon and Theresa Fankhauser.  She grew up in Nebraska and later moved to Deming in 1993.  She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and had worked locally with the Deming Public Schools and later in Home Healthcare.  Brenda loved being around children and especially her family.

She is survived by her husband Shawn Byrne of Deming;  her parents, Gordon and Theresa Fankhauser of Beatrice, Nebraska; her son, Derek Fankhauser (Jessie) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; 3 grandchildren, Adrian, Luna and Solara; sister Tammy Fankhauser; and  brother Bradley Fankhauser of Beatrice, Nebraska;
