Carlos R. Teran

Carlos R. Teran, 64, of Silver City entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces.

Visitation for Carlos will begin at 10a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Prayer Vigil and Rosary will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at eleven o’clock in the morning at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Silver City.  Officiating will be Deacon Bill Holguin. The Funeral Mass will follow at eleven-thirty in the morning.  Concluding service and burial will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery. Officiating will be Father Oliver Obele.  Serving as pallbearers are, Marcos Teran, Armando Teran, Ismale Teran, Gabriel Gonzalez and Cisco Teran.  Honorary pallbearers will be Fred, Abril and Guillermo Jr. Chavez.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 25% of the capacity of the church will be allowed, wearing a mask and social distancing will be enforced.

Carlos was born on November 10, 1956 to Carlos M. Teran and Encarnacion R. Rivera in Bisbee, AZ. He married Guadalupe Alicia in Bisbee 39 years ago and together they had three children. He worked as a truck driver for HEI.  Carlos will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Lupita Teran; three sons, Miley Teran, Armando Teran (Felicia) and Marcos Teran (Chelsea); four grandchildren, Mya, Cisco, Marcos Jr. and Mia; siblings, Tony Teran, Gloria Abril, Manuel Teran, Ricky Teran, and Maria Gonzalez.
