Carolyn Holliday

Carolyn J. Holliday passed away at home Wednesday, July 07, 2021.

Carolyn was born December 17, 1945 to Oscar and Nadine Skelton. She was raised in Luna, NM; she met Robert Larry Holliday while working in Alpine, AZ. They were married on the 02 of July 1963.Their first son, Robert L. Holliday, Jr. was born in March 1964, Gary W. Holliday in December 1965, Vickie L. Holliday Collins June 1968, and Shelley L. (Vonnie) Holliday Fuentes May 1969.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved traveling, sunsets and going on cruises. She was loved by almost everyone she came in contact with and will be missed deeply.

She was survived by her husband of 58 years, her two daughters, Vickie and Vonnie and grandchildren, Brandon Collins, Megan Fuentes, JoDee Fuentes, Courtney Fuentes, Justin Fuentes, Cassidy Holliday, Dylan Holliday and Cody Holliday. 

She was preceded in death by her two sons: Robert and Gary, and Grandson Blaine Collins.

Her funeral will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Gila, NM on Friday July 16 at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at Memory Lane Cemetery in Silver City, NM.
