Chandra Devi

Chandra Devi passed away at her home in Silver City, New Mexico on the morning of March 9^th, 2023.

She was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on July 24^th, 1955, and lived a life full of adventure and fun. Throughout her time on this earth, she traveled and lived in many places from Hawai’i to the Azores Islands. She spent the majority of her adult life enjoying the rugged wilderness of rural Maine where she raised her children. Chandra will always be remembered for her creativity and talented fabric art, and her loving and passionate spirit. She always took the road less traveled.

She is survived by her three girls Autumn, Naomi, and Teea, and by her four sisters Liz, TM, Barbara, and Charlotte, two brothers Charlie and Daniel, lots of nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends. She was very loved. Chandra crossed the rainbow bridge and joined her trusty companion, Shea. On the other side she will meet the relatives who predeceased her and who she spent many hours learning about during her genealogy work.

A celebration of life will take place in July of 2024 in New England. If you would like to do anything in her memory, please consider donating to the Gila Regional Cancer Center.
