CLARA MEDINA ARREY, 83, passed away Wednesday January 15, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
A rosary will be Tuesday January 21, 2025 at 10 o’clock in the morning at St. Ann’s Catholic Church led by Patsy Leyba. A memorial mass will begin at 11 o’clock with Fr. Francis Gyau, Pastor officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
Clara was born in Faywood, New Mexico March 24, 1941 to Thomas Medina and Bertha Galindo. She was married to her husband Urbano (Bonnie) Arrey for 67 years.
She loved working outside the home and retired at the age of 75 years. She started working at a very young age of 14 at the Hub where she met her husband. She went on to work at the Park Hotel, Auburn Rubber Company, Luna Electronics, Spring City, Sparten, Deming Electronics and Walmart. She was loved by her coworkers and friends that she made along the way. She was a wonderful lady with a big heart.
She is survived by her husband Bonnie and her five children, Debra, Rudy, Peggy, David and Arthur. Her two sisters, Gloria Chavez and Betty Cuhen, her two brothers Albert Medina and Charlie Galindo; 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and by her beautiful aunt Mary Dominguez who she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Medina, mother Bertha Galindo, brother Bobby Medina, sister Annie Burgholzer and her grandson Mike Sainz.
