Daniel Galindo Chavez

Daniel Galindo Chavez, 78, longtime Deming resident passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at his home. He was born June 11, 1946 in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico to Rosendo Chavez and Angela Galindo.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 5 to 7 o'clock in the evening at Baca's Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 10 o'clock in the morning at the Redeemer Apostolic Church (9905 Country Club Rd. SE, Deming, NM 88030). Daniel will then be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Maria at Mountain View Cemetery.

Daniel is survived by his children, Ruben Chavez, Gilbert Chavez, Sonia (Francisco) Ester Chavez-Casalas, and Maria (Paul) V. White; 8 siblings, Juan Chavez, Eva Salinas, Ruth Chavez, Niomi Chavez, Frances Chavez, Elizabeth Chavez, Prisilla Chavez, and Angie Chavez; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosendo, and Angela Chavez; his spouse, Maria Chavez; his son, Randy Chavez, and 9 other siblings.

Serving as Daniel’s pallbearers will be Jose Vasquez, Paul White, Ezekiel Cardenas, David Guerrero, Clinton Garner, and Rian Chad Williams.
