David Neil Brady, 77, husband, father and grandfather, passed away at his home near White Signal, New Mexico on April 30, 2026.
David was born on January 29, 1949 to William and Edna Brady in Bisbee, Arizona. David grew up in Bisbee where he proudly played baseball throughout his youth. After graduating from Bisbee High School in 1967, he attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona where he met and married his wife of 54 years, Melissa. David and Melissa moved to Grant County in 1972. David retired from Phelps Dodge after more than 30 years as a boilermaker/welder. David’s greatest joys in life were going to Disneyland and travelling in their motorhome. David and Melissa visited and explored all 48 states in the lower continental United States as well as Alaska and much of Canada. He will be missed immensely.
David was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edna and his brothers William and Joseph.
He is survived by his wife Melissa, his children Neil (Christy) Brady, Molly (Jay) Johnson, his grandchildren, Colleen Brady, James Brady, Brady Johnson and Penelope Johnson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
