DAVID L. HARRISON JR., 56, passed away on Thursday December 12, 2024 in Texas.
David was born on October 25, 1968 to Delfina (Sugar) Zamora and David (Bear) Harrison Sr. and was a lifetime resident of Deming.
David had a passion for hunting and the outdoors. He loved his family, and his friends. He was known to the family as “The Friendliest Man in Town” as he never met a stranger. He would become friends with anyone and everyone. He had a heart of gold and would give anyone his last dollar or the shirt off his back.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Irma, of 27 years. His sons, Dustin Harrison of Deming, NM, Dylan Harrison of Capitan, NM, and his daughter Rheanne (Joshua) Vogel of Mayhill, NM. His stepsons David Valenzuela and Paul (Opal) Valenzuela of Deming, NM. His grandchildren Dallas Harrison, Krystin Rayson, Jayden Valenzuela, Sterling Vogel, Anthony Valenzuela, Lola Vogel, and Madilynn Valenzuela. Sisters Carolina Missy (Gary) Leyba, Cathy (Jaison) Bryan and brother Dale (Camille) Harrison, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bear and Sugar Harrison, his mother and father-in-law, Ray and Olin Herrera, and his nephew Anthony Cordova.
