David was born in Silver City, N.M. to the late Claro Muñoz and Jennie Martinez.  David was a military serviceman to which he served in the Navy proudly in El Centro California where he met his beautiful wife Rosalie of 51 years to which they made their home in Santa Clara (Central) bringing 5 beautiful children. David worked as an underground miner for many years, and worked construction for many years as well. David enjoyed spending time with his family whether it was out on picnics, camping, fishing, going to Oldie or Tejano concerts, or just being at home in his man cave.  David enjoyed collecting oldie cars and Raider memorabilia. David enjoyed listening to music, playing his guitar, singing, and dancing.  One of his favorite groups was Jimmy Gonzalez Y Grupo Mazz.  David was a very stylish dressed man making sure that his clothes were always ironed and creased, shades and his derby hat and shiny shoes.  David was a jokester, always telling jokes or making faces just to make us laugh in any way he can.  One of his favorite past times was going to California to the beach more specifically Redondo Beach.  Everybody admired his birthmark which is his white hair on the right side of his head.  His favorite holiday was Christmas to which he would always decorate with so much pride and dedication.
