Deborah Marie Wilson

Deborah Marie Wilson “Debbie”, 56, of Pinos Altos passed away at home Tuesday, August 5, 2025 after a courageous, hard-fought battle against laryngeal cancer with her husband Pat and beloved dog, Sassy, by her side. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels.

A memorial service for Debbie will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 at three o’clock in the afternoon at her residence ‘on the mountain’, Pinos Altos. Her family will be hosting a dinner with fellowship time immediately after the service.

Debbie was born November 8, 1968 to Louis Sr. and Janice (Ledeboer) Wilson in Sullivan, Missouri. She was the third daughter and fifth child in her family. After moving from Missouri to Colorado, her family settled in New Mexico where she grew up and graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1987. Debbie was a people person who was devoted to her family. In different times in her life, you would find her waiting tables, working at NMSU registering students and taking care of others. Debbie loved her life with Pat, their girls and their grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Pat of Pinos Altos; daughters, Elizabeth Blair (Merrill) and Gwen Free (Josh) of Kansas City, Missouri and Anna Campbell of Denver, Colorado; her six grandchildren: Gage, Landon, Madison, Jamie, Riley, and Josh Jr.; her brothers, Bill Wilson (Robin) of Alamogordo, Art Wilson of Franklin, Nebraska, James Wilson (Cindy) of Alamogordo and Louis Wilson (Regina) of Louisville, Kentucky; her sisters, Rachele Dyer (John) of Alamogordo and Cathy Wilson of Alamogordo; twenty-nine nieces and nephews, twenty great nieces and nephews, five aunts, two uncles, and countless cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marsha Najera; nieces, Holly Wilson, Megan Dyer; her grandparents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
