Delia Lechuga Obituary

Delia G Lechuga, of North Hurley, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Funeral Chapels. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at Six o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Baca’s Funeral Chapels.

Delia was born February 1, 1934 in Hillsboro, NM. She enjoyed being in the kitchen, cooking and baking, and was known for her delicious peanut brittle. Delia’s family always came first. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Delia is survived by her son Louis Lechuga (Vanessa); two daughters, Cecelia Torres (Henry) and Tina Gutierrez. One brother, Willie Gutierrez (Sarah) and one sister, Elsie Majalca. Two grandchildren, Jasmine Marrufo and Randy Lechuga. Five great-grandchildren, Able Torres, Adeline Maruffo, Tyler Neudecker, Liam Gamboa and Frankie Gamboa. Also surviving her are nieces, Dora Arrey, Flora Silva, Josie Arrellin, Lucy Grinie and special niece Sally Baca. Delia was preceded in death by her husband, Luis Lechuga and her daughter, Patricia Gutierrez.
