Delma Aguirre de Moreno, 87, longtime Deming resident passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Mimbres Memorial Nursing Home. Delma was born August 18, 1937 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Alfonso Aguirre and Socorro Sanchez.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 9 to 10 o’clock in the morning at Baca’s Funeral Chapel. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will then be recited at 10 which will be recited by Irma Juarequi. The Mass of Christian burial will then be celebrated at 11 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, with the rite of committal and interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Francis Gyau, Pastor, will be officiating.
Delma is survived by her children, Guillermo Aguirre, Cesar Moreno, Hugo Moreno, and Blanca Moreno; 3 siblings, Saul (Irma) Aguirre, Socorro (Jose) Esparza and Maria (Rafael) Esparza; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso, and Socorro Aguirre; her spouse, Issac Moreno and a sister, Olga Snyder.
Serving as Delma’s pallbearers will be Cesar Moreno, Hugo Moreno, Jose Manuel Hernandez, Rafael Esparza III, David Walker, and Manuel Esparza.
