Domingo Zamora Arrellin, Jr. 73 was called to heaven on April 1, 2021. He was born on February 8, 1948, in Garfield NM to the late Domingo Sr. and Eloisa Arrellin.
He graduated from Cobre High School. He spent most of his career working at the smelter in Hurley for Kennecott Copper Corporation. After 35 years of dedicated service to the job he retired and found a small job at the Billy Casper Wellness Center as a custodian. He loved talking to people and he made many friends along the way. He loved to play the guitar and would never miss a chance to share his music with others. He loved his family more than words can describe and he will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by two daughters; Laurie (Lennie) of Waddell AZ; Deanna (Jon) of Las Vegas NV. Five grandchildren; Alyssa (Jacob) Gomez; Michael Fuller; Katarina, Brendan, and Melina Morgan. Five great-grandchildren: Violet Perguson, Adrian Fuller, Anthony, JoJo, and Abby Grijalva. He is also survived by two brothers: Larry (Esther) Arrellin of Tucson AZ, Roman Arrellin of Maricopa AZ; one sister; Alice (Ronnie) Dennis of Coolidge AZ, and several nieces and nephews he loved and cherished dearly.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Rosemary, his daughter; Melissa, his grandson; Leonard Morgan III, his sister; Nancy Barton, his grandson-in-law; Cole Robert Perguson and his parents Domingo Sr. and Eloisa Arrellin.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, April 8 at 9:00 AM at St. Francis Newman Center, 914 W. 13th Street, Silver City NM. Rosary at 10 AM and Mass will follow at 10:30 AM
