Eberardo Martinez Ramirez

Eberardo Martinez Ramirez, 64 of Las Cruces died November 23, 2024 at University Hospital in El Paso surrounded by his family.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10 am on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Hurley.  The Funeral Liturgy will follow immediately thereafter.  The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at the Hurley Cemetery.  Officiating will be Father Casmir Anozie.   Serving as casket bearers will be Lalito Martinez, Randy Vanegas, Malachi Manning, Ricardo Martinez, Yajaira Vanegas, and Octavio Martinez.

Eberardo is survived by his daughter, Sonia Martinez; two sons, Octavio Martinez and Ricardo Martinez; three sisters, Leticia Vanegas, Elisa Martinaz and Susana Martinez; two brothers, Luis Mario Martinez and Daniel Martinez.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Condrado Martinez and Maria Luisa Ramirez; three brothers, Guadalupe Martinez, Estevan Martinez and Leonardo Martinez and one sister, Maria Elva Martinez.

Eberardo was born November 25, 1959 in La Fernandez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Condrado and Maria Luisa Martinez.  His entire life, he was a truck driver, whether it be in the oil field up in Wyoming or for himself everywhere else.  His hard work ethic kept his family very well provided.   When he wasn’t driving, he enjoyed horse-racing, and drinking his coffee with his friend’s, playing dominoes.  Eberardo will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
