Eduardo Sanchez Sandoval

Eduardo Sanchez Sandoval, age 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021 in Deming, NM.

Visitation will begin at 9 o’clock in the morning Monday, February 22, 2021 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Recitation of the holy rosary will be recited by Irma Jaurequi at 10 o’clock. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 with the rite of committal and interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Jesus Martinez will officiate. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, 25% of the capacity of the church will be allowed, must wear a mask and social distancing will apply.

Eduardo was born on May 9, 1939 in Parral, Chihuahua to Federico Sanchez and Emilia Sandoval.  He married Soledad Chavez with whom he fathered seven children, Ramon, Martin, Edward, Edmundo, Luis, Maria and Guillermina.

Eduardo joins his wife, Soledad and brothers Mat, Isaac Sanchez in heaven. He is survived by his companion Elidia Rincón, his siblings, Epifanio; Federico and Hijinio (Hilda) Sanchez; his children, Ramon (Martha), Martin, Edward, Edmundo (Priscilla) and Luis (Judy) Sanchez, Maria (Abelardo) Ortiz and Guillermina (Juan) Lopez; 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  

Eduardo was a dedicated and loving father, brother and grandfather. When he retired from working on the farms, he liked to spend his free time fishing as he was an avid outdoorsman.

Serving as pallbearers are Ramon, Martin, Eduardo Jr., Edmundo and Luis Sanchez and Juan Lopez.

Honorary bearers will be Adan and Uriel Ortiz, Ramon Sanchez Jr., Oscar Lopez, Christian, Isaac, Gabriel, Edmund Jr, Ezekiel and Eduardo Sanchez.
