Emiterio A. Escobar “Mouse,” age 87, of Fierro, NM passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by loved ones on September 4, 2020.

He was born on March 3, 1933, in Fierro, NM to Ysabel and Basilia Escobar. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Ellen Escobar; his daughters Patricia “Patty” Escobar and Sylvia E. Perez (husband Johnny); his sons Robert Y. Escobar (wife Sylvia) and Steve Escobar (wife Mary Ann); 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great-great granddaughters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his sons Ernie and Raul Y. Escobar; his parents; his brothers Vicente, Luis, and Gaspar; and his sister “Chavela.”

At this time there will be no funeral services due to the pandemic, the family is taking phone calls only. Flowers and condolences may be sent through Baca’s Funeral Homes.
