Erlinda "Lynn" Lucero Birley

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Erlinda “Lynn” Lucero Birley from Kingman, AZ.

On June 20, 2021 she went to join our Heavenly Father; her husband, Jerry; parents, Luis G., and Camila Lucero, and her 2 sisters, Julia Almanza, and Henrietta Sanchez.

Lynn was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico, in 1943 to Luis and Camila Lucero. She attended and graduated from Deming High School in 1964. She attended beauty school in Albuquerque and became a beautician and later moved to Norwalk, CA where she managed housing apartments for 20 years.

Lynn is survived by her daughter, Patti Arenibas and her companion, Cory Smith, and granddaughter, Raylynn; 3 sisters, Mary Zuniga, and Margie Villegas both of Deming and Nioma (Higinio) Molina of Las Cruces. As well as many numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will take place on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church (615 S. Copper St, Deming, NM. Sacred Rosary will be at 9:30am, recited by Lucy Ann Villegas, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 with the rite of committal and inurnment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Fr. Prakasham Babu, Pastor, will officiate.
